An Update Blog Post
Woot, I am finally backed for an update. It’s been a while since my last blog post here. I’ve been overly busy last week preparing for the little one’s birthday celebration. I am glad that my plea for Mr Sunshine to show up was granted. The little one had a blast. The party may not be perfect but what matter is that I saw the little one smiling from ear to ear. He even told me last night that he can still vividly remember what happened on his birthday and even dreamed of it. Yay, does it mean he was really happy on his big day?
On the other note, I and my friends are planning of a get together coming Sunday. It’s been a while since the last time we had a get to together. We missed each other. I am sure it’s each one of us has a story to tell. They were here on the little one’s birthday but because I was busy I didn’t had a lot of time chitchatting to them. I even forget to take photo of them. Yay, I shall ask someone to do the picture taking next time I host a party for the little one.
Busy Mommy, Me
In few days my little tot will be turning seven years old. As early as now I am already preparing the things I’ll need for the small gathering I am planning as I don’t want to run out of time. I’ve learned my lesson when he turned two years as I run out of time to the point that I forgot to let the kids wear the party hats I bought. I also forgot to hang the banners I bought for the said party. I just discovered it few days after the party while cleaning my room.
So this time, I want everything set before the little tot’s big day. I already ordered the cake, bought the loot for the party bags and other party flavours. The tarp will be pick up later today as well. I will be finalizing the invites as soon as I am done posting this blog post. Yay, organizing a kiddie party is indeed a tiring task but I am sure it worth the effort when I saw the ear to ear smile of my little tot.
Excited..
..for his 6th birthday. This time he wants to have two celebrations, one with his classmate and lastly he also want to celebrate it with his cousins and friends at home. I am not planning to give him a big party like I and my boyfriend did in his second birthday.
Well, I did check how much I would spend if I will give him a party with this classmate in school and also at home with his cousin and after computing I found out I could give him both. But one thing he asked me to promise him is that he wants a Ben 10 cake, for sure some mommies out there will understand me. My son is a fun of Ben 10.
Latest Photo Of My Son
I could not think of a good topic to post in here. Since its been a while since the last time I posted a picture of my son so I decided to post his latest photo.
I asked my son to pose with my grandmother, at first he don’t like the idea. Well, my son doesn’t want to pose in front of the camera. But that day he ask me to take photo of him with his puppies so in return I asked him to post with my lola.
Look at the puppy, she seems to like what my son is doing to her head.
Doing Great!!
As a mother, I always want my best to my sonand never expect to much in return. I want him to enjoy his childhood life and expecially in school. I never forced him to do anything that he don’t want to do. When I attended the second parent’s meeting I was surprised when I saw his name in ranked 3 and for that I treated him out. Last Thursday when I arrived at home my son had another surprise for me. He bagged the Best in Science in his class. Cool isn’t?
I do hope that he continue to excel in his class and for sure he will always be rewarded for that. Lol..
An Uber Late Post
Uniform parade (my son is the biggest among the boys but he is not the oldest) sadyang malaking bata lang ang aking anak..
Beware, an uber late post!!! Well, what can I do I am a super proud mama. I am pretty sure all the mama out there will appreciate and understand how does it feel when our child is doing good in every thing he/she does. Few weeks ago, I blog about my son as one of the contestant for the Search for A1 child, the highlight of their school in celebrating the nutrition month.
It did not matter to me if he will win or not. What matters to me is the exposure he will get, as it will help him overcome his shyness. As a student, I am not really expose in joining school programs. Not because I am shy, but unfortunately I do not have any talent to show up.. shame on me..
Back to my son, he never fails to amazed me every time he ramped on the stage. So wonder, I almost jumped when the emcee announced the name of my son as the A1 Child 2009.
Though I am a bit disappointed when the judge proclaim the best in sports wear attire because the number she called was my son number but surprised when she called another name. What a shame… but at the end of the day it come to my knowledge that my son who won the best in sports wear attire.
